Remanufacturing of Laser Toner Cartridges

Carbon Copy Laser has been offering remanufactured, generic and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) laser toner cartridges for most manufacturers since 1995. We do also offer OEM and generic replacement ribbons for dot-matrix printers. The Cartridge Remanufacturing Process

A remanufactured laser toner cartridge is stripped down to its individual parts, all parts are cleaned and inspected. Parts susceptible to wear such as the drum, primary charge roller, magnetic or developer roller and bushings as well as the wiper blade, doctor blade, recovery blade and mag sealing blade are all replaced with new parts. The electronic chip is also replaced if the cartridge requires one to properly function. The cartridge is then rebuilt and packaged to produce a quality product. The remanufacturing industry has come a long way since the early days and now offers an extremely reliable product that at a fraction of the original cost.

Remanufacturing Matters

Every toner cartridge that is remanufacture is one fewer going directly to the landfill. For every remanufactured cartridge purchased, it’s one less new cartridge that needs to be produced, saving it from entering the waste stream and from draining the planet’s natural resources. Every year, hundreds of millions of plastic printer cartridges end up dumped in landfills around the world. While we can never completely stop the cycle of cartridges entering the waste stream, we can at least stem the flow.
